Her several children require care, you see, as well as her burgeoning career -- past a certain point, juggling online needs and offline needs becomes untenable, and offline needs will always be the priority. She and I have discussed it at length, along with foaming_beast,

lol is that the heroic picture she painted? thats nice. must be fun to get to create your own reality. hackslayer was the one getting stalked and harassed by KenPao and she never hid because of that. epistler was the one who left because she had a publishing career to take care of and she never kept in touch as a friend after that. never.

This is one of the most condescending and patronising things I have ever read. You speak as though this group is some sort of crèche/day care centre that you’ve set up. You say that this is your ‘brainchild’, your ‘legacy’, but when was the last time you posted anything here? When was the last time you contributed anything to this group? You’re just taking over ownership because you can’t bear to let go, but now this group belongs to people like The Epistler, Torylltales and Anya far more than it does you.

yeah. i mean the epistler returned 3 years ago after being absent since 06 and the group welcomed her back with open arms and allowed her to contribute without freaking out within 24 hours

Why not just hand over the community to someone who actually posts here?

Because I care about my brand, my legacy -- the things my brainchild begat.

So why not hand the metaphorical reins to someone who posts? Someone who has an actual, visible presence? If I first came here a few months ago, would you blame me for thinking Epistler was the one running things 'round here?* Or how 'bout Toryll? Anya?

It's far too easy to forget you exist. And I don't say that to be cruel; how many times has anyone seen you on the site these last few years?

*That said, when I was first lurking here, what, seven, eight odd years ago? I thought Epistler was one of the higher ups :P

she never wanted to be coz she wanted the distance. she flipped out over the staff and called them immature then abandoned them as a contributor back in 2006 after she thought her publishing career was gonna take off. the AS staff was a bunch of unpublished losers as far as the epistler was concerned.

everyone freaking out over hackslayer abandoning the comm when epistler did it first...hackslayer stayed for a few years after she left, ur hilarious.
