Every now and then I look at dogs on petfinder. I really want to get a corgi someday, because they have great personalities and I think it's the perfect size for the cats...not so small that Puck will beat it up, but not so big that it will beat up the cats

I thought Corgies had a rep for being prey driven? I've only known a couple though. I love how they're big dogs in little dog bodies, without being yappie.

Any chance you could build the cats some kitty-spaces that are high-up? Even tops of bookcases? Any high-up space would be doggie-free for kitty relaxing...

The cats have been used to having the run of this place for too long, I think they would rebel hardcore having to share it at all. Plus my cat Puck is kind of a badass. I'd be worried for the puppy's welfare too!

My husband has "banned" me from looking at petfinder after I sent him one too many pictures of dogs we had to have. He says Little Man can have a friend when we have a fenced in yard.

I do not allow myself to look at petfinder for this very reason. Although, now I want to go there and look at boxers.
