I'm glad to hear that you made it in o.k. and you're already off the ground on your language study and research project. You sound like you're glowing, and I know the feeling well from the beginning of each of my trips to SE Asia. Doesn't that pork and rice taste amazing? Perhaps we should use more MSG back home. I'll have to mail you a sack of bran flakes to balance out your glutenous diet.
Did you get the final o.k. on your HRS application? If not, you might want to hold off before you do anything formal.
