Chelsea's back from Italy, and we hung out today after I bummed around the Haight for a bit with Mat and Courtney. Which was REALLY awesome. Chelsea shows up sometime around 4, thought we were heading up at 11. It's okay, I got some time in the Haight out of it. Bought a rad Sam Flores print. shy guys are always so intriguing.
it's such a challenge to get them out of their shell.

i learned it's best not to think about these things.
it's best just to be oblivious in the mating game. "love" (or whatever) happens when you least expect it.
it makes things pleasantly surprising.

and we're all truly wusses.
i come off as a very direct/aggressive person, but when it comes down to me talking to a guy i'm attracted to, i get all flustered and shy.

Yeah, I tried the oblivious thing for about a year and a half now, not really working. I guess you're supposed to be calling shots if you're the guy. I don't do that well.

I suppose the awkwardness of the flustered/shy part makes the end result worthwhile though? Nothing easily gotten is worth having...
