This week has been less than stellar so I am going to post a picture of sprinkles in an attempt to end the week on a positive note.

Tasha (Redwall Photography) has loaned me her Lensbaby camera lens. I really have no idea what I am doing with it but I liked how this picture turned out.

After driving by Broken Cherry Boutique (1734 W. North Ave, Chicago) dozens of times and noticing their super cute shoe display in the window, I finally walked over there and actually visited the store. I think these are the most awesome shoes I have ever owned.

I have been making some really good contacts in Chicago for fabric and sewing supplies. I was told about a warehouse that sells "everything that goes inside a garment" meaning zippers, interfacing, buttons, chalk, tags, thread, elastic, lining fabric and so on but no fashion fabrics.

I really want to post more 'inappropriate to be on the internet' content but I know better...

Gosh do I want to vent!

My new camera is in Chicago but will it be delivered today? Probably not. :( However, once I figure out how to use it, I will start posting pictures again!

I finally have reliable internet at my apartment in Chicago! I still have a very old (and slow) laptop to work with but hey, at least it is something.

I'm really enjoying living in Chicago, which I knew I would. I've seen stars2811 almost every week since I've been here and I'm so happy about that because she is awesome to be around. She has already gotten ( Read more... )

Things are starting to come together for actually moving into Chicago. Kris and I are working together on opening a store. We didn't have enough money to open two stores right away so we are opening her store first. A lease is signed for that and I have been busy working on clothing for her store ( Read more... )
