Okay, let's get this one out of the way first:

"It's very cliché."

No it isn't. A cliché is a thing, in and of itself. If you're referring to the state of something, and describing it as such, try this:

"It's very clichéd."

That's better.

Next up, e-mail. One of my accounts has been blocked for a fortnight, as J sort of pointed out in a comment here recently. It's annoying, but I'm working on it.

The Clearing House. As some of you know, this is one of four properties, the rights to which were recently returned to me. Yay! One of these days I hope to revisit the subject of greenlit projects stuck in limbo, and what happens to 'em when dither and blather take hold, because it's grimly fascinating from a number of perspectives. Now is not the time. The only reason I bring it up here is I'd forgotten that Rubicon (the AMC TV show, previously mentioned here when the pilot episode aired) has finally kicked off in its regular Sunday night slot, and Bill (presently Stateside) raised the spectre of cause and effect.
