(The only flaw in your reasoning is that these are all likely to be graphic design majors who are deft at package design, and overly anal-retentive, and who get graded on their presentation regardless. Her fears are valid, but probably slightly overstated. There's only so elaborate a second-year design student can do, if that's who her competition is. Plus anti_cyclone's got moxie.)
