It's been a bad week, but I think I am getting better. Enough that I'm typing, instead of huddling in a chair and feeling sorry for myself, at any rate.

I was all excited in August of 2004, when the US Postal Service released a series of stamps featuring different kinds of clouds. I bought a bunch of them, and now I wish I'd bought more, because I'm running out.

Ha! That's great (the parentage thing).

JP the other day was telling me about a problem he was having with a program he was writing, and he was speculating about whether he needed to just kill a child process after it was no longer needed. I told him if he did, he needed to name that function Medea. Har har.

Nice. Random classical references make me happy. (I almost typed "harpy," which would have been perhaps too appropriate. But maybe it's time to revive my harpy LJ icon.)
