I came back to LJ to let everyone know that LiveJournal could go belly up.

Yeah, a lot of people use Tumblr just for photos. I like its ease and the layout choices, which are much nicer than LJ's I must say. At least I know where to find you if LJ does happen to go kaput.

Oh yeah, that's right! I almost forgot.
I do follow a lot of people, and most recently 2, err, citizens from the show Pushing Daisies have just followed me. XD

There's a link a couple of replies up. I don't know how it does it, but I was told it's someplace to start.

oh man, I have no idea how to back up my stuff =(. I tried an LJ client along tiem ago and hated it. such bad bad news I can't bare the thought of losing my old entries

I know, you have stuff from like 2005 or 2004, right? Like WAY back. You were the first person I thought of when I heard the news. I hope it's saved. I can't possibly see it collapsing since it's such a huge site with so many people (probably more than Myspace and Facebook combined) - it would probably cause mass hysteria if it closed. But anyways...

You could try these:

LJ Export

The first one seems like it would be easier, but what do I know, heh.
