Disconcerting at first. However, masks aside, the faceless are rather like the world when I am without my glasses. It does not seem to have passed with the night. I hope this curse proves only forty-eight hours long. Though I am unaffected, I find it would be far more peaceful when everyone has stopped whining been set right ( Read more... )

ryuuken sucks, unacceptable, unamused quincy, unaffected, the anti-shinigami promise, curse day, the 4 eye sewer, i cannot stand arrancar, mean with a sewing needle, but he fakes it anyway, i hate kurotsuchi mayuri a helluva lot, masked day, kill yourself for recognition, dresses are nice to make, ticking

It'll be terribly annoying if this curse lasts much longer. The amount of shrieking is enough to piss saints off.

The Archery Range? Interesting.

... There is that aspect to it, as well. There has been less panic over the deadly curses.

Not very.

Desensitization is probably setting in. After all, it's the ones deadly to our reputations that we're most afraid of.

Your sudden enthusiasm to avoid me was. Come to think of it, it's been awhile since we've had coffee.

I fail to see how the removal of one's face for a day or two would damage one's reputation very much. The masks' possession may, but given that masks are being worn, the chance of identification is slim.

The faceless people aren't that bad, it's the ones who've put on masks and become possessed that worry me.

Mm. It is bizarre, and dangerous when the masks are those of dangerous creatures or people. A sort of... grotesque Halloween at work.

[ooc: bb in an hour ish! ]

Halloween? Of course quite a few masks appear to be dangerous, especially that white mask I keep seeing that has people running around trying to stick sharp pointy things into other people.

Ah-- Halloween is a holiday in my world in which children dress up in costumes and go door to door asking for candy. It tends to be accompanied by a lot of mischief. ... That mask is a rather popular one on said holiday. While worn by the player who protects the goal in the sport Hockey, it is also worn by the murderer in the film Halloween (and its many sequels).

They were not so much offensive as... overzealous in their conviction.

... You are forgiven.

For me to say "have you not experienced this", in my case, was rather unfair, as, I cannot expect anyone else to have done so.

Ah, no-- that is--

Not at all. I-- I apologize for contributing to, ah, reminding you of such a terrible thing.
