Given the nature of this City, in that everything seems manufactured to a purpose rather than random; given that the sky can hardly be a sky, with the barrier within it; one must wonder what this shower heralds.

But, in the meantime ... it is pretty. Has anyone a telescope?

Yes!

Well, I haven't done that much dancing before, but it was always fun!

I am sure that if Inoue-san was able to advance so far in karate, then she must have excellent coordination for dance, as well.

Ah, does Inoue-san have any interest in swing dance?

Well, karate is sort of like dancing...

...I don't know, isn't everything that happens always have a purpose even back home?

I mean... I think in my world it's like that. So it isn't just here...

It seems more so here that any thing and everything outside of a normal routine has a meaning, and meteor showers fall into such a category.

At home, I am sure that it depends on your perspective. Some people look at the falling of a leaf, or the accidental striking of an animal by an automobile, as random. Others will see something more.

I guess...

But wouldn't thinking about the purpose of everything make you neglect the beauty of it? Like the meteor shower for example... If most people think of it like it's a warning for a curse, then they wouldn't want to go see it. And that'd be a shame since we have no control over what happens in the City anyway and it's not worth it to worrying about...

I would think that thinking of it as a warning would prompt more people to look at it, or at least pay attention.

We can control, now and again, how we respond.
