More dust accumulates when no one or very few inhabit a space, actually.

I'm well aware, but given what dust is composed of, one might think it would be the other way around.

I guess.

Then again the more objects you have, the more dust you have too....Yuuko-san for example...well, you've seen it.

It gathers in the most inconvenient places.

... Yes. One would think she'd have a method of getting rid of dust entirely.

Did you get hit with that OCD curse too late?

He doesn't need the curse to be OCD.

"The Monkey's Paw"?

Reply

It's a story by W. W. Jacobs. A monkey's paw proves to be a talisman capable of granting wishes, but only at a terrible price. Such as money, but only because a loved one has died, causing his insurance or some fee from the accident to be the money wanted. Inevitably, the final wish is to undo the prior wishes.

"Be careful what you wish for, you may receive it."

I understand the moral.

It is why I did not wish for anything, it would not be my place.

... That isn't quite the way of it, Kurotsuchi-san.

It is your place to have wishes; think of it as knowing better than to ask the City.

It hasn't been livable?

I may have been exaggerating

Not at all. Of course, I haven't been living there for some time.
