A curse, no doubt.

By taking a more pratical route and ignoring the network yesterday, as well as the outdoors, I believe I escaped any and all inconvenience. Yes, it seems the City has tired in some small part of its masochism after Halloween. How irritating, that I must hope for a mild curse on that day.

Is the sixth a special day? Curses tend not to come on consecutive days, so if there's no curse on the fifth it's quite possible there'll be one on the sixth.

... foolish of me. Not that it would matter one way or another, as I am not superstitious enough to put any merit in this, but perhaps I would have had more luck hoping, publicly, for a curse on the sixth. I appreciate it.
