A-maz-ing. I love this so much. It's just - wow. So perfectly them. I love the connection to Thomas and all the art imagery, it's such a vivid and gorgeous metaphor. I mean, this:

She is untamed work of art, a creation of his unmatched by any who came (died) before.

is just beautiful and creepy and perfect.

And the last two lines are absolutely fabulous. I can so clearly hear their voices in this, Claire's innocence concealing all that complicated mess, and Samuel knows what he's doing to her and sort of regrets it.

This is so beautiful and sad, I love it. I really like this take on how she changed. MiB changing into Thomas makes so much sense, but I love when he reveals his true self to her.

All the little details that show how hard her life is? Brilliant. Stitching herself up, the leaves in her hair, bathing in creeks. It's all so perfect.

How do you do so much in such a short fic? Amazing, my dear.
