His tall build blocks the sun, casting an elongated shadow on her drenched form. Ripped jeans quietly allude his origins, but she doesn’t ask questions.
(eight weeks later, she’s taken -- starving bones and all)
This is it, huh? Chipped nails trace the dirty mirror, brown eyes staring intently into the blurry reflection. This is where he watches us? Walt?
He says nothing, but manages a nod.

I don’t belong here, do I, Zach?
Pulling her close, he whispers into her blonde curls. You belong here, Clementine.
