I loved your River-voice, I loved the affection and wonder in this story, but most of all, I loved that sentence.

I love all the characters on Firefly, I really do. They're incredible.

You ought to look at the other stuff in serenity_gate; it's an open AU, and there's a beautiful moment in Someone Else's Sky when Mal realizes that they've finally reached a place beyond the Alliance's reach.
