I saw the title of the entry and my first thought was "ZOMG! Professor Erlandson!" I go to the University of Oregon where I am an Anthro-Archaeology major. I've had Professor Erlandson as a professor and he's amazing. He would talk about his theroy several times in lecture.

We actually have a a pretty awesome anthro department. Its small (student wise) but we have an amazing teaching faculty and office staff.
