Online Sources?

I just graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in anthropology and after 4 years of being loaded up with information and news and some awesome access to journals, I need some post-grad sources.

So.... what are your favorite news sources for Anthropology? Or possibly online journals free to the public? Where do you research for ( Read more... )

Throughout my undergrad career I've been given multiple articles to discuss in my classes through this website http://www.plosone.org/home.action it's free :)

i read a blog called Savage Minds which helps to keep me up to date about a decent amount of stuff.

There's also antropologi.info, which i don't read as often (read: am lazy) but is still good.

The AAA also has a blog but... well. Like most of the AAA's online stuff, it needs a little help and is a bit sad. They do have a listing of other anth blogs, though, which might be of use.

(edited for huge amounts of HTML FAIL. Damn i am outta practice)

I'd like to second everything kethryvis said here. The blogs mentioned tend to be pretty interesting, and AAA's blog makes me wish it, well, were better.

I found it really hard to keep up with anthro after undergrad, there really isn't much out there. I am in grad school now and, of course, here it's information overload. Have you looked on iTunesU for anthro lecture series, etc.? I know these won't contain the latest news, but you might come across some good stuff.

(Btw, this is my first post even on LJ so hello all!)
