I still don't buy it. There is just not enough evidence to support calling these remains a subspecies of human in the handful of individuals that we have. The feet are interesting, but these bones are still not displaying enough variation from any known species or subspecies to prove that they are not simply diseased in some way. If you look at conditions that can occur in modern populations, it's easy to see why at this point a simply deformity is still the best answer.
