Oreos being marketed in the UK was discussed recently in brits_americans and there was a certain feeling that they hadn't been adjusted to the UK market: too sweet, and the darkness set up expectations of a strong dark chocolate taste that simply wasn't there. I've tried them and that was very much the way I felt; I tried them once but wouldn't buy them again because I found them lacking in flavour.
