I seriously expected archaeologist to be on there. Awww.

Seriously, ethnographer does not belong on there. Plenty of people love to observe others and enter various fields to pursue this. It's totally normal. Same with snow researcher and Foley Artist. Same with coffin maker. Way to insult a necessary and ages-old profession. Now, dog food tester, doll doctor, and bonfire builder, those are not normal. lol.

Honestly, none of those are really weird. All told, only one have I not heard of, 14 I know people who have done, and 3, 4 if you count an assignment in cultural, I have done myself.

Gum Cleaning: mininum wage (actually part of a pressure washing company). Wig making: about 8 to 10/hr. SFX artist: got stiffed by a school art department (possibly not their fault) but I was supposed to get $200 for some work for a play.

Some of the jobs that are done on Dirty Jobs or "how It's made" on Discovery... now those are odd

I'd love to do like half of these. My dream job is to design miniature golf courses, though.
