The BBC article that malkin767 posted earlier ( here) mentioned the blog of an anthropologist working in the much-discussed Human Terrain System for the US military. I checked it out and created an LJ rss feed of it, under the name hts_mgriffin. He spends a few posts discussing the controversy surrounding his job, and talks about daily life as an anthropologist working
