has anyone else seen this show 'digging for the truth' on the history channel?
http://www.history.com/minisites/diggingforthetruth/ i've just discovered it and it kind of makes me want to cringe. i think it's admirable that they want to make archaeology more accessible to the public but some of the questions they investigate are kind of ridiculous

They really don't uncover any new information... they show some (very small amount) of proof for what's already known which is kind of cool... but I agree. It's just too simplistic, and to me most of the time they don't answer the question they set out to answer. So while it's interesting... I find it usually not worth my time. Not quite as bad as "Going Tribal" but almost in the same category.
