Humans first moved out of Africa about 70,000 years ago, but 30,000 years later some of them moved back.

Another migration out and back happened several million years ago apparently, before even Austrolopithecus, so this isn't entirely illogical.

I wonder what reason they might have had though. Better climate or food options? Less chance of being hunted themselves? Maybe a curiosity to explore (humans are curious after all)?
