Psychic stamping going on

The cleaning/fixing/organising bender is still going on; rather than hitting one thing, I'm doing all the little things that jump to my eye as needing to be done. Names are sacred. They define identity, who YOU are, what YOU think of another person/place/think. Names define your mindset towards the named -- what you name something, that it becomes, in your head...and your perception is everything.

Call something "confusion" and sure enough, it'll live up to that name. You definitely need to change that name.

Agreed. To be honest, the confusion of this place has always embraced good confusion - open door policy, friends and family dropping in at any time, a sort of loving chaos that comes from too much life crammed into one place. But there has always been a downside, too. I'm ready to let go of that negative aspect, and accept that the love and fun doesn't need to mean chaos, certainly doesn't need to mean drama - or clutter!

There we are, more realisations: to be social, welcoming and gregarious doesn't mean surrendering my control over my life.

How about Order of Chaos..... because after all even chaos has some form of structure (I know - heresy), and in the case of your house - the chaotic nature of socialising has a positive order and impact.

Considering Blaewen Weall, which is an adaption of Old English for 'blue wall', as the front fence and the outside front facing wall have always been painted blue.

I find frequent 5 minute breaks essential not so much to the task of cleaning, but to the task of staying sane in a big stretch of cleaning. Also you find so many things while cleaning that warrant a 5 minute distraction that it's a bit unavoidable.
