I think I just found my life philosophy.

I see no point in treating life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. I plan to arrive there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, some chocolate in the other, my body thoroughly used up and totally worn out, screaming "WOO-HOO! What a ride!!"

Live fast, die young at an advanced age, and leave a corpse that makes the undertaker wonder what the hell happened.

great philosophy - so long as it doesn't shorten the ride

The advantage of this philosophy is that, if you've got anything left after that, you'll be too broken to want to continue. So if it shortens the quantity, at least it guarantees the quality...

Well, I plan to live to Eleventy-One and die by drowning, so shortening the ride doesn't factor into my plans.
