Tomorrow is going to be 43C. And humid. With a UV index of 11 (Extreme) from 9am to 5pm.

Can we say ouch. Especially as I have to rund errands in town tomorrow and can't hide inside the house all day til the cool change comes through.

and 3 areas ni the state have more than extreme fire danger. The schools and kindys have been closed.

It's not too bad. The asphalt hasn't melted yet (I remember parades up at RAAF Edinburgh where we were actually sinking into the parade ground). And whilst my bike handlebars were too hot to touch after five minutes parked in the sun, it was still quite nice to ride to the markets for lunch and back.
