This speaks with great depth to me, and how I feel about The Big Questions. No religion could ever give me the sense of amazement, wonder, and humble marvelling at the beauty and overwhelming, thrilling, fantastic complexity of the Universe we exist in.

"This is what a religious experience should be - it should be about the wonder and amazing complexity of the universe, and how we move through it and understand it and marvel at it."

I totally agree and luckily for me - this is what my faith is :) I may not be 'normal' in being comfortable with a faith 'without edges' if I can put it like that, but like you I have friends who 'get' the concept, whether they be athiest, agnostic or religious.

Fantastic song - and Carl really sums it up for me - we are made of star stuff, and the cosmos knows its own....

well put :)

The more I see of the universe, the more my faith is strengthened. I am sure there is so much more and I hope I am around to see at least some of it! I remember, when I was in high school, a 'youth group' leader told me - always question my beliefs and my faith. I did and I do and relish in the challenges.
I understand that people find different answers and wish the world could get along - whatever we believe.
