Phantom

C'mon, it's coming: Let's talk.

True: Phantom has been declared a National Tour.
False: Phantom will be coming to Adelaide.

Yes, I'm peeved. No one wants to back it here. Travel costs, hotel costs, ticket costs? I'm broke as it is.

Anyway, as I'm most likely going to miss out on THE BIGGEST EVENT OF A LIFETIME, I want to hear some talk from others ( Read more... )

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! how awful! :( I've got my tickets booked for Melbourne... whoot. Now to sort out planes etc. I'm going in September, and you'll definitely hear my review. any chance you could borrow money off your parents or something?

We're flat broke what with my uni fees and board fees. Unless I win the lottery there's not a chance in hell I'll be able to see it, sadly.

You could travel to Melbourne on The Overlander (economy class), take in a matinée of Phantom, and return that night. Sleeping on the train cuts out the hotel costs and Victoria's rail fares have just dropped quite a bit which should make a difference, too. I've done it heaps of times, although usually to and from Sydney.

How's the prices of tickets by the way? I've been avoiding looking up the info on the prices and when the matinee ((gah, character)) will be so I don't build myself into a false hope; but I figure what the hell. Expensive, I'd imagine.

Here's the link to the Ticketek Phantom bookings ~ http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=PHANTOMG07
Concessions are available for full-time students with appropriate ID. (There should also be concession fares on The Overlander - it's worth enquiring.)

If its been declared a national tour that means its coming to Sydney? I had plans to travel to melbourne to see it but they fell through. If its coming to Sydney it will be much more convenient to get to.

Anyone got details?

I definitely heard that it's a National Tour; I think Sydney was one of the cities Warlow mentioned in the radio interview he did in New Zealand ((that audio is available to download at my forum ATM as part of the Phantom Gala gift pack; member's only privilege)). HOWEVER the news on whether or not HE will be touring with them is a little shaky. Maybe I just haven't heard the correct story yet or even enough of the details but there's a rumour floating about that he may do Phantom and then move on to "another project" whilst Phantom tours. If anyone's got solid information on this feel free to correct me.

oh ok, thanks for letting me know :o)

I really wont be all that interested in seeing it if he's not in it, so I'll keep my eyes/ears on the look-out for any info. I'm thinking now I should try and remake plans for melbourne :o\

Definitely do so. I'm not exactly the most reliable source for information as information tends to die as soon as it touches the S.A. border ((currrrrseeeees)), but that's all I've been hearing atm
