however this isn't one of those times. Your right times changes and so do people.. that's why we have memories. They help us preserve our past while shaping out future. I guess what i'm tryin to say is that even if times do change (i'm sure they will) that my memories of all the times we've spent together won't. I won't forget you and i sure as hell won't forget all the times we've hung together and all the crazyness that resulted from said hanging out. I'm sure you'll serve our country well with honor and bravery. I'll b thinking about you and i'm sure other will too. I'm not going to say goodbye... i'll just say look me up when u get home.

Russell, I value your friendship more than alot of people I have met up here. I am also sure that you will serve our country very well, and I have faith in your abilities. You will come back, I have faith. I am so glad that we have had the time we did to become friends and make memories. Strip clubs and drunken almost make-outs, drama and open roads, we have been through it all. Give me your address, I will write you. I could never forget you and you sure as hell had better look me up the minute you get home.

It's been awhile

I have been debating on wether or not I should comment, and then decided I would. We live in the same building, and we used to be close, but now we can't barely look, much less speak to one another. Funny isn't it.
I want you to know, that when you go to Iraq that I will be thinking and praying about you. It would mean alot to me and my family if maybe you would send us your contact information. I really can't say much more, it is wierd even writing this at all. Be careful Anthony....

You're right it has been awhile... perhaps too long. I'm glad you posted Amanda. It would be good to have you as a friend again. It would also be very well to hear from you while I am over there. odd isn't that we can't even speak normally anymore.....

I just thought it might be nice to talk about stuff, everything was ended so abruptly and suddenly, maybe understand thing before we are unable to talk for awhile.

Jesus Christ... I should have stood on a podium or a horse while I gave that incredibly corny speech. I can't believe that was three years ago. eons ago. I've already gone to iraq, come home for a year, and now here I am again in iraq almost done with this tour. I think about how naive I was... I lost that at too great of a price... I've lost alot of things because of iraq. Fuck.
