I'm not entirely sure how I haven't managed to get round to a proper post for so long; it certainly isn't as if I've been doing very much recently. My exams ended two Thursdays ago: I had six hours of exams and three fifths of a bottle of an unholy blue isotonic sports drink during the break after the first three hours. In my maths I had enough ( Read more... )

philip pullman, breakfast, caroline, peanut butter chocolate, bubbles, rose, phantasmagorical fountains of fanboyness, tom, isaac azimov, jack cohen, the god squad, maths, robbie, quantum theory, unholy blue isotonic sports drink, dancing midget jesus, exams, muse, squee, louise the awesomely cool, jazz hands

I'm not entirely sure how I got them in, to be honest -- it was something to do with the barnard-Stokes heresy many-worlds hypothesis, but I can't for the life of me remember why I was talking about that in the first place, although I do remember that there was a legitimite reason of some sort. It was a very fortuitous opportunity, and I took it with both hands... :D

I do really rather like my friends. :D I'm not entirely sure how I ended up with them, really; they are wonderful insane fantastic people. :D

And yes. Muse were. Um. I think the term 'absolutley bloody brilliant' is rather apt here. Um. Wow.

I think that that tickets will be one of the very few unescessary purchases of magnitude that I will not ever regret. It was worth every penny.

Dr Pines!!!

He took me to God Camp when I was 12. Good times.

Nice to read your rambles of wisdom. Over and out.

Dr Pines is awesome. Probably the reason why I took RS for GCSE, and thus why I did it for A-level. He invites members of his form to his house for lunch.

And also, I think 'rambles of wisdom' is going to have to be the new subtitle of my journal. :D

Well at least you didn't have to crack out the stimulants. Am seriously considering that right about now. :) Your exams sound -- well, I'll just ask, you had six hours' worth, right, but it wasn't straight? Was it? It would have been v. interesting to measure the temperature of your pen. If you had been using a pencil, do you think it might have melted? :D

(I hate logarithms, by the way. Along with most of the curriculum this year.)

MUSE. ENVY, ETC. :p

Um. That much sugar? Probably more effective than cocaine at close quarters. (Also, it comes without the risk of arrest, addiction and social stigma, and is also considerably cheaper, I would imagine. :D ( ... )

Quite true. Doesn't sugar make you so jittery that your writing spiders out of control, though? It does to me. Granted, stimulants would probably do that, too, along with all of the illegal thingers.

... Six hours of exams should be illegal. That is all.

(My calculator can only do logs in base ten and it cost something like $90, damn you! Then again, it has so many functions that our teachers have the tendency to not teach us certain ones until after the course, so that we have to work it out by hand, which is apparently "good for us". Or something.)

... ARE THE BALLOONS AND ACROBATS AND TROUSERS RELATED TO MUSE?! :D

It didn't, probably because I used up all of the jitters with my dancing midget Jesus comedy routine. :D It certainly made me write faster than usual, though ( ... )
