Israel is, somewhat unsuprisingly, very very hot in the middle of summer. Apparently people in England are wearing jumpers. Am feeling somewhat smug (not to mention hot).

*laughs* I didn't, no - nor the suprise package I found in my bag (excepting the one that JoMo used for practical jokery). We did develope a chant (to the tune?,/s> rhythm of 'The roof! THe roof! The roof is on fire!, etc') that went like this:

Me too. I´m in Spain, and it´s gone up to 40 degrees. Urg. It´s not *supposed* to be boiling hot at midnight!!!

There was one point, near Elat, when we stopped off because the driver needed a break, when my thoughtline ran like this: this feels like utting your body in an oven. I like the heat, but it was insanely intense...
