My bag is packed, pretty much, and it's sitting in the hall llike some kind of mutated, obese slug on wheels. I've shut my bedroom windows, bought myself a sunhat, and am currently transferring an aduio book to Tigris so that I can listen to it.

I'm leaving for Israel in less than twleve hours.

I would say that I'm not nervous, but it's not entirely

Have a fantastic time! Actually, you will anyway. It is the most amazing place. The food, the places, the history....the sand dunes!! Everything. You will not want to leave! And try not to worry about the security and everything - as you say, you will be in the south for the first week anyway. Your parents will be more worried than you are! xxx

*laughs* Yeah, they are - to the tune of mum coming downstairs half an hour after she'd gone to bed to remind me to be careful to put on lots of suncream. :D Besides - I'm sixteen, I'm going to live forever... :P
