Review: That Hamilton Woman

A couple of weeks ago partner and I finally got round to watching That Hamilton Woman by Alexander Korda and I must say we both thoroughly enjoyed it! It's very much "of its time" but it's still very watchable. I still have to watch the complete movie. It'S been sitting on my shelves ever since I saw excerpts of it in one of the rooms of the museum at Portsmouth Historic Dockyards...They had put several versions of Kiss me, Hardy on a loop. :D

It was in the same room where Jack Bear tried out the swords...

I say! That's a very big sword for a very small bear! XD

The film is definitely worth a watch, it's a real 1940's period piece but it's very good in many ways.

I'd never say that to Jack Bear's face. *g*Also, he was on his own as I had a look at the 'do touch' Nelson bust, and Stephen Bear, his particular friend was still in the orlop of HMS Victory, where he inspected the bandages, the surgical instruments and the stores of (filled) laudanum bottles. Stephen only returned to hear Jack Bear telling him all about Surprise having cut out Hermione

Oh, I have every intention of watching the movie. I just never get round to it. One day.... :D
