Greenwich Tall Ships

I'm still living in a building site here and we've got several more weeks of chaos to go, but we're starting to see some progress :} Meanwhile the Tall Ships have sailed from Falmouth to the Thames and today they made their way up the river to Greenwich. Why was their advertising so shoddy. I could have managed another week...

Very glad about the building report and hope your weekend grand list of tasks is going relatively well

ships are glorious - would love to have been seeing them live.
And Esteven is right that the advertising seemed to penetrate the consciousness less than other years this time.

Great Pics!
Saw some reference to "live ships" on the site you linked, which brought to mind a fantasy series I'm reading in bits and pieces, centered around "Live Ships" by Robin Hobb. I've read two so far and they are very entertaining, although a bit far from true age of sail stuff.
