Sorry you were not there -you were in spirit !!
There was quite a stir when that very smart captains gig moored at Maidenhead bridge ( built in 1777 when Sir Edward was 20 and Horatio just 1)
but lunch at the Blue Riviera cafe was good - other than Sir Edwards face at the pricces on the wine list
Good Lord i could have bought a dozen cases for that at Majjendies
