Hello. Remember me? It's been a rather apocalyptic week in Glasgow what with the tragic helicopter crash at the weekend and the storm earlier today. We've survived intact though. The storm has passed, but sadly it hasn't taken my work deadlines with it ( Read more... )

I have been thinking of you this week. I pictured you and your little family safe in the middle of the wind and things falling from the sky.

So glad that you are all safe. Does work show any signs of easing? Will you get a break at Christmas?

Yes, thankfully nothing fell on us from the sky apart form a few tree branches, rain, hail and a bit of snow, though most of the latter went sideways.

Work is not showing many signs of becoming more manageable but I should get a few days off over Christmas at least.

*sniff* Poor rats...

We had an enormous hit of northern wind this night, it woke me up opening wide my window. Half of my way home after work was through pitch black streets, the lamps were off, the wind had broken wires somewhere. Now it turned for southern and is slightly warmer but no weaker...
