I know less of his work than I would like, but he's well worth taking time to discover. He was a real force of nature, a cliche to be sure, but in his case true.

Thanks for posting the youtube vid, I'll definitely listen when I get a chance. I own Heaney's Beowulf, a really wonderful translation.
