Dec 23, 2012 00:39

Here's to holly and ivy hanging up, and something wet in every cup.
Think I might have overdone the greenery a bit this year... :}

Lovely, warm and very Christmasy. I think it is just about perfect.

I should add that the garlands come complete with wildlife! It's not unknown to find beasties abseiling down on top of your head it you're sitting on the couch underneath them :}

Partner gives me a terrible row for poking at presents. Doesn't stop me though ;)

What a beautiful tree! Dr Maturin wants to know, what is in the big red parcel to the right? A life-size Jack Aubrey doll????
HE wants to unwrap it! *g*

*sighs* Your pictures are always perfect. And there can never be too much green, dear :)

PS: Have you ever considered making a living from designing postcards??? :)

Glad you like the greenery! I am not sure what's in the box, it's from MiL. I have had a poke and I suspect it is a box of food and such like.

(Stephen and Jack usually have pride of place on the mantelpiece, but they have been packed away for Christmas to make way for the greenery. Heaven knows what they are getting up to in their box ;)

Awwww... The candelabra :) What they are getting up to in their box? Making beautiful music, of course *g*

Allow me to disagree: For made 'only' with your mobile they are really good!!!

*off to squee a bit more over the candelabra and the instruments* *squee*

That's really lovely and welcoming. I particularly love the fireplace. And there is no such thing as overdoing greenery!

I'm inclined to agree :) There is a very overgrown and neglected park not far from the river, I reckon no one will mind if I help them prune the shrubbery there once a year :)
