[ it's been awhile since Yin had been at a beach. beaches weren't full of dead bodies and blood. not this one, at least. it was soothing - but Yin wasn't thinking about that. she was much more concerned about finding a certain contractor - one who was much too important to her.
so there be a blind, silver-haired girl, her shoes in one hand as she stands where the waves meet the sand, staring at the horizon. anyone care to bother the loli? ]
[kanda had been sitting under the shadow of the palm trees for a while. meditation or zen or something like it; when he had closed his eyes, he had noticed a silver-haired girl standing by the shoreline. imagine his surprise when he sees the same girl still standing in the same position after a little while.
needless to say, it catches his attention. he stands, sand now on his feet, and walks towards her.]
[ was the strange man talking to her? well, she couldn't sense any other presence around her so he had to be. usually, she would just ignore strangers - she didn't know who she could trust after all. the only trustworthy person was Hei and this man wasn't him.
but Hei wasn't here. and she could sense that this man did not have any intentions to hurt her.
slowly, she tilts her head towards him as if acknowledging him, not directly looking at him since she couldn't see anyways, nodding her head. ]
[her eyes are oddly coloured, he notices, like marie-one particular colour glazing over the entire iris. if he didn't know better, he wouldn't be able to tell that the girl is blind. at this point, he is far past having to ask himself how someone who can't see can manage their way around.]
Don't stay here too long.
[on the other hand, he believes marie is the only capable blind person he has ever met. kanda has his suspicions on the rest of the unseeing population.]
[ was that concern? no, it was more of a warning. still, people did not give warnings unless there was danger. but there was no danger here - her observer spirit was telling her so. then why was the stranger warning her?
...perhaps this is why they are called 'strangers' - because they are truly strange. ]
[ she repeats quietly, her head tilting back down. was she disappointed? no, not at all. she knew it wasn't real. but to think that this will disappear was somewhat upsetting. ]
Are the stars real? [ a strange question for the stranger. ]
[she must be following the sound of his voice. marie sometimes did something similar to that, being able to follow through his movements and the like. oh well, he thinks while scratching the back of his head, such was the life of those blind.]
[ she doesn't say anything but her silence tells that she's a little saddened by that. in her world, many things were not real either - like the stars in the sky. to hear that things were almost no different here made her slightly upset. ]

It's not real. [not like he expected anything bad to happen, per se.] They will turn it off some time.
