This is the first time I've read it. It works beautifully and features the melding of two of my very favourite things - mythology and Giles :-)

Same basic premise: virgin sacrifice threat. All the details are different and so is the tone, I think.

Thank you for commentary. I love this story and it's great experience to get to know what intentions/ideas are behind the scenes.

As English isn't my language I can't feel all those little things you point out, but this story always felt "different" to me and I like it for that.
