Let's see how long I manage it. I am still fannish in my head about BtVS, but the fandom itself is sort of making me blue. It's so very very quiet. Ever look at comments on stories in other fandoms?

Hmm. I have seen other fandoms. I guess you're right, but I still haven't found any show that I love half as much as Buffy. Is it because it's off the air?

Yeah, I think it is. Some fans prefer the vibe from series/canons that are in progress. Some fans (like me) prefer closed canons where you know the landscape and where all the minefields are. There are more of the people that like the in-progress stuff & the shared fun of experiencing new content. Also, BtVS was a mailing list fandom for a long time, not an LJ fandom. The segment of it over here was never as giant as, say, the Stargate fandom over here was.
