Watched most of "The Pack" the other day and was reminded that Nick Brendan looked great then.

Hell yes. Why there's not more fic-offshoots from The Pack, I don't understand.

Actually, I want one where Xander more or less stayed that character, even after he was deposessed. Would make for much more interesting run-ins with Angelus and Spike. And Giles for that matter. (for the characterisation obv. Not for the pron. *cough*)

I was re-watching because I wanted to refresh that flavor of Xander in my mind. For, um, fic. I find it *definitely* plausible that the experience would remain with him in a number of interesting and fic-inspiring ways. I'd love to see his life trajectory changed drastically by the spirit of a hyena still with him.
