Ooh. This is sweet and sexy and sorta sad, too. I can see how this was a challenging fic, but I think it really paid off. I love your description of the tattoo. Lovely work.

The interesting thing is that I had the emotional core of this story written almost first thing in the series. It took me a long time to get the details right and show how it happened.

Well done! I love the bitter-sweetness of this fic, it goes well with how Giles reflects on his memories.
Even though he's unsure, Giles seems to be in better shape in it, more adjusted. He would have been more freaked out before.

Thank you for sharing it.

Yeah, turning point for Giles here: healing begins.

Loving this series. I'm impressed that you've managed to find character motivations for each of these challenges and still have the pieces be true to the characters we know and love. No easy feat, methinks.

Aha! You've hit on what I found interesting about the semi-random bingo card challenge. That was what made me sweat, and why I did it. So thank you!

Damn. That's just gorgeous, and completely captures my feelings about tattoos, though I don't have any. I also really like that you didn't make getting one all pretty and fake, but kept it real.

I talked to friends with tats about what it was like for them. I don't have any, either, though (as usual) when I write about something like that I always end up wanting exactly what my characters are doing. Even if I had no interest to start with! Alarming at times.

I have seriously considered getting one in honor of surviving my feet, but I could never come up with the right design. So my necklace serves instead.
