8. The discovery that London has nothing I'd call a cafe open after dinner. Four hundred million Cafe Neros and Starbucks, and nary a real coffee house to be found. Bah, culture shock!

Back in Wellington, where I am almost from, there are 24 hour cafes, and all day breakfasts really are on all day. I've been here just over 4 years, and I'm *still* looking for similar service. London has many and varied wonders - as long as you are up at the right hours.
