Wonderful! My favorites are Soldier and Judge. Judge is a side of Gwen that we don't often get to see - fully self aware and somewhat bitter. And Soldier? Poor Tosh! She seems to survive on those little bits of light and hope that are sprinkled through the darkness.

Thanks! I like Birth the best of all of them, one of those bits of tenderness and sweetness that we see in Jack every now and again, but not nearly often enough.

Soldier hurt to write, as did Old Age, but I'll confess to having fun writing about Tosh in naughty panties and stockings with garters.

Oh yes! And we know she has it in her! Soldier comes from a sad place, like all of Tosh's relationships. I think her romance with Tommy was the most poignant of all of them.

I really liked Judge because of the pain. A lot of times Gwen is written (even on the show) as thoughtless and feckless, and her caring side is shown as fairly shallow and self-serving. Judge played to her depths, her awareness of what she's lost. That's why I liked it. :)

LOL!!!!! I love your icon long time.

The rare glimpes of bitter!Gwen are so heartbreaking--Countrycide with Owen, Combat and Out of Time with Rhys, Adam and Adrift also with Rhys, Adrift with Andy--you really see how far she's gone.

Wonderful use of the soliloquy. As You Like It has always been my favorite play by Shakespeare.

Thanks! I confess that I'm more of a Much Ado About Nothing fan, but As You Like It is a good one too.

As I implied previously, what I love the most is that while its overall a fairly dark piece, it's bracketed by the tenderness and hope in both "Birth" and "Life."

It flows so well altogether, but slices through to the inner characters in just a few dozen words individually.

Great idea, beautifully executed.

Thank you. Pat yourself on the back for giving me the plot bunny on a day when I had *nothing* to do at work and was really bored. Gave me a good hour's worth of entertainment!

I'm glad you liked it.
