Residents of Ceriu,

Thanks to the hard work of Dylan Frost and the other scientists, the JLE has been given access to a pair of sentry bots. Please do not be alarmed if you see either of these wandering the halls. They will do you no harm. I ask for your patience and cooperation while we continue to work out the details ( Read more... )

... Robots, huh...? [Some tiny, far-away boyish need to scream 'awesome!!' is trying to overtake him.] That's... they look a little dangerous.

There are several security features in place to keep them from harming anyone. They respond only to my voice and unless the situation calls for anything more severe, the weapons are all set to stun.

They're more intimidating than dangerous.

[asdlkfdgkhgj well, those certainly looked impressive. and he's about to comment on that fact when something else strikes him as odd, diverting his attention for a second.]

Text, Naoto? Don't you like doing this professional stuff in person at least?

When the situation calls for it, yes, but text is just as effective.

[there's no reply for a good few minutes, only because shouta has taken it upon himself to make the small trek down the hallway to fetch the tiny detective and see these robots for himself.

that, and the use of text only was-well, a little bit off, to say the least. so he knocks a few times on the door of room 1A-195.]

Yo! Naoto?

[Éclair smiles when she sees the pictures. Guard robots! That's a familiar slice of home to her.]

Let me know if you need help taking care of them! Do they have names?

[But as she glances away from the screen, just a hint of sadness crosses her face. She misses Donnerschlag.]

That would be appreciated, Éclair. I have no experience in this particular area.

Names? Should they have names? [Never actually gave that any thought]

Of course they need names! How else would you give them orders?

Hm, well I was planning on using their unit numbers, but perhaps names would make them seem a little less intimidating.

Do you have any suggestions?

. . .

And they think passing out robots is a good idea?

They are not simply passing out robots. The scientists have donated them to the JLE to help protect the citizens of Ceriu from criminal activity. They are not meant to harm anyone, only to protect and serve the populace.
