Judith reappeared. She was stuck in a meeting. Hohum, I will see whether there will be another delivery attempt. She brought me some flowers, which was very kind.

The ex is in Oxford and wants to meet me. What do I do now?

You know you are likely to work in a library when you hear following conversation:

Colleague A: Colleague B seemed very quiet in the meeting yesterday.

Colleague C: Quiet, that was very lifely for Colleague B.

I am still alive, just very busy at work, and I have moved house, so I spent lost of time in the company of boxes and plastic bags. I still have to clean the old flat and pick up the last bits and pieces and persuade my limbs that there is no reason to complain ( Read more... )

The first week in the new job is almost over, and I am still enjoying work:). It is like being allowed to puzzle all day. I haven't been able to do much in the evenings, as I felt very tired due to the cold, but that seems to be on the mend, so I might finally get round to doing that meme thing I said I would do a couple of days ago; sorry ( Read more... )

I am a somewhat happier bunny today than yesterday. I didn't do much at all yesterday, apart from having some food and unplugging the phone prior to going to bed. I managed to sleep rather well and while gettin up this morning was not exactly easy, i managed to have proper breakfast and make a sandwich for work, so I felt accomplished. After a melt-down over coffee at work yesterday and a further melt-down over the phone to my father in the evening, I am feeling better today. The hormones have sorted themselves out, I now have an aches and pains in certain body-parts, but at least the crying has stopped ( Read more... )
