Max grins at him.

"Comfortable-looking, isn't it?"

"It really is", Michael says with a returning grin. "Pretty good first introduction to space travel."

"Can't get much better."

Max flops on another of the white, roundedlike couches. "And this is one of the best chairs to sink into I've found in a while."

Sharpe strides onto the ship, with sword, rifle and probably less visible weaponry. He nods to each of those already there.

Max gives him a bit of a salute.

"I don't believe we've met."

"Richard Sharpe. Pleased to meet you."

"Max Evans. Hi."

A pause.

"Um, and Zan, if he calls for introduction. Same to you. Thanks for coming."

Max can't thank anyone enough.

The door to the bridge sighs open with a call of "Glad to be of service!"

"Zark off."

And now there's a Ford here as well.

"Um, same to you?"

Ford shakes his head.

"Not you, the door." He jerks his thumb over his shoulder to the closing hatchway. "I really hate these doors. You'll hate them too if you're here long enough."

Havelock is now there, though it might be tricky pinning down at what point he arrived. He looks around in mild, polite interest.

"The man of the moment," Max grins over at him. "Hey - you ready to be the star of the mission?"

"Stars are frequently more noticable than I hope to be," Havelock says dryly. He nods to him.

"... well, I think we're all with you in that opinion," Max agrees.

"The keystone of the brick wall of the mission, perhaps."

From the couch by the side comes a mumbled greeting (we think) and vague wave at the various arrivals.

Yes, Zaphod is awake.

Uh, sorta.

Trillian flops down next to him on the couch, abusing Millitime.

"I think you'll get your wish for a party tonight."

"Rock on," he says, with a valiant attempt at not-yawning, and slings an arm around her shoulders.

"Think hubby'll mind if I dance with the bride?"

She kisses his cheek.

"I'm sure he won't."
