The facial proportions on this are lovely. This image just serves to remind me why I fell in love with manga and manga-style anatomy in the first place. It's so soft and graceful, really lovely. The proportions are a little odd once you leave the face, but it's not very noticable since your attention really is firmly focused on his face.

yeah, it's a new character who's lost his eyesight because of the yakuza, so he wears a bandage around his head.

yeah, I just drew his pupil and a tiny line to show where the iris is. otherwise it would be blank and that creeps me out.

in the first try he looked freaked out, now he's calm, emo and a bit happy if the artist hasn't had enough sleep.

I can see the resemblence myself but he's different, hell, I made him different while thinking about his character after the first drawing so people don't get that idea that OH EM GEE HE'S LIKE RIKUUUUUU!!! WARK!!!

For me he looks kind of scary.. It's like hard to guess what's he thinking about. This eye though is amazing and I've been staring at it about 5 minutes.

OD = Oblivion Dust, see working music. He really sings: "Take me back home, yeah" but the first time I really thought the line was "Take me like an onion". I was confused. immensely so.
